The Japanese company Sharp has announced a new smartphone that does not look like any other smartphone on the market right now. The Aquos R6 features the largest camera sensor ever seen on a phone, a faster dynamic refresh rate than competing products, and a Qualcomm 3D Sonic Max fingerprint scanner.

Aquos R6 has a Leica brand camera system with a one-inch sensor

It has a 6.7-inch screen with a resolution of 2,730 x 1,260 pixels. Works on Snapdragon 888 with at least 12GB of RAM. The battery is 5000 mAh.

Although Sharp did not confirm this, it is rumored that the Aquos R6 is equipped with a one-inch sensor IMX800 from Sony. The camera is 20 megapixels, accompanied by a ToF sensor.

It's the one and only sensor on the back of the phone, because the company thinks it's enough. The downside of this is that the phone only offers digital zoom. Leica has worked closely with Sharp on the camera system, and this is an even more indication that the optical company is no longer working exclusively with Huawei in the field of smartphones.

The lens is much wider than the main camera of most other phones, but still not as wide as ultra-wide cameras. The camera surprisingly takes up a lot of space. Accompanied by LED flash and module for "Airplane mode".
